Our service users

The service is for children and young people aged from 13-18 years and their families. This is for young people with a wide range of mental health problems, disorders and illnesses, who require the help of a multi-disciplinary mental health service.

We aim to help young people move away from mental illness and try hard for them not to need further mental health services when we discharge from our service, however we have a seamless service with EIS in Barnet for young people with psychotic illnesses and can refer onto adult teams if needed.

Accessing the service

Referrals are accepted from schools, social care services, youth centres, youth offending, GPs and other health and social care professionals.

All Barnet CAMHS services are served by a single access point and a common referral form, with the service deciding on the appropriate team for each case.
